The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

The H4N is able to supply higher plug in power voltage, however has not been tested with this mic, and would be unable to confirm operation with the VideoMicro. In general battery powered microphones are recommended for use with portable recorders.

A: For that type of application I rely on dual recording system. Attach your favourite audio recorder to the sound console the instruments are plugged into. Then sync them in post.If you only want reference ambient audio, this mic will do just fine.

A: The VideoMicro is not compatible with the XA-10 camera. The VideoMicro is not able to be adapted to XLR. It requires plug-in power which can only be provided by an 1/8 mic connection.
