Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use the extension rings with a true macro lens?

A: Yes you can. I have a Canon 100mm macro that I have used the extension tubes with and still get beautiful pictures - even of butterflies that dont stay still very long come out sharp. I would recommend this product. I keep it with me all the time.

Q: 2. will these tubes work with a D70S?

A: Yes, these tubes work perfectly with the D70S and D7100.

Q: 3. Will this work with AF-P lenses?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG (12, 20 & 36mm Tubes) for Nikon Digital and Film Cameras is compatible with Nikon AF-P lenses.

Q: 4. Hi, I own a GH4 with a panasonic 20mm 1.7, and a 45mm 1.7. Will it work with the kenko extension tube?

A: I used mine on an Olympus OMD-EM10, and they worked very well. They should work on your Panasonic, with a few caveats. Since the Olympus has sensor-shift image stabilization, I could not test to see if they have the connections for IS on Panasonic lenses. Also, you will have a very short working distance with those lenses. The 45 mm should work OK, but the 20 may be a little short. I mainly use mine with a 60 mm macro, but have used them on a 12-40mm zoom (mostly at 40mm) and also with the Panny 100-300 zoom. The longer the focal length of your lens, the better the working distance, which is especially important for insects. The Kenko tubes seemed well built, so I bought a set for my Nikon camera too.

Q: 5. I have a Nikon D300 and want to use my Nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens. Just starting to play with the idea of macro for fun. Will these work? What would be another lens size to add for these?

A: These will work. Autofocus and data transfer between lens and camera is maintained. As another answer mentioned, a 100mm lens would be a good one to try as well.

Q: 6. What is the grid for this Elinchrom Litemotiv 120cm Parabolic Softbox?

A: Unfortunately, there is no available grid for the Litemotiv 120cm Parabolic Softbox.

Q: 7. is the kenko extension tube set compatible with Sony Mount A-99.... which is a DSLT camera.regards

A: Yes, the Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set is compatible with the Sony A99.

Q: 8. I have the manfrotto 1005BAC light stand, will it be enough for this litemotiv 120cm softbox? Or do I need a better light stand?

A: Hi,The weight is not the issue. Ideally you want a stand with a bigger foot print so that it will not tip over. You could use your 1005BAC but you would have to weight them down with sandbags as they are rated for 22lbs or 10kg.Ideally look for a stand with a Junior mount. https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/840739-REG/Kupo_KS500112_Master_High_Cine_Stand.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/840739-REG/Kupo_KS500112_Master_High_Cine_Stand.html/aI hope this helps.Regards,Will

Q: 9. Hi i ve got a canon EOS 6OOD with 18 -55mm lens. Will the kenko tubes set work?

A: They work with my Canon 6D.

Q: 10. Elinchrom Litemotiv 120cm Parabolic Softbox can I hook this to my white lightning mono light by Paul c buff

A: Unfortunately, Elinchrom does not produce an adapter allowing a White Lightning Monolight to fit this modifier.
