A: I don't see why not. I'm using the system (it's not really a system, it's individual products that B&H bundles together) with a Canon 5D MkII and 580EX II Speedlites. The transmitter and receiver are generic. They don't do anything except trigger the remote flash. They do not allow the flash to communicate with the camera. But that's OK. The main flash will still talk wirelessly to the slave as if it were mounted on the hot shoe. You just have to adjust the flash settings manually.
