Q: 9. Purchased this unit two days ago and will not fit on top of the Sony a77M2 flash mount. According to website this is the unit for this camera. Cold mount is to big to fit the flash mount. What are you going too do to correct this problem to make this item work properly?

A: Dennis, Not sure what is not fitting properly. Does the locking wheel hit the top of the camera body? I notice from photos of the a77M2 that the top of the body housing comes up flush with the front of the flash hot shoe, which often is not the case with other cameras. Try to fit the receiver in backwards in the flash shoe. The receiver itself doesn't need to attach to the camera for the remote to work. If the unit slides in part way, you can still lock it in with the wheel. But the actual foot of the ShutterBoss receiver mount should fit into a standard flash hot shoe.

Q: 10. Is there any advantage of buying a wired timer remote versus buying a wireless timer remote? Or vice versus? Is one really better than the other?

A: The wired remote always works the same cannot be said for the wireless plus I believe it uses up more battery in your camera. The always works is what I want and having a cable is not a big deal.
