The white B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Very Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired TA5F Connector for Lectrosonics Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a TA5F connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonics M185 or M187 wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work with an Xbox to use an iPad as a screen? What is the latency?

A: This is only specified to work with cameras.

Q: 2. Will it accept a "paul buff" speed ring?

A: No, the Godox Parabolic Softbox AD-S85W (White, 33.5") does not have interchangeable mounting plates.

Q: 3. How long will the battery record 4k and HD video for and also can you plug in to a battery pack to keep recording like with the a6600 and the a6400. Cheers?

A: Hi Eamon, You can use the battery pack to connect the usb power like the a6600 and a6400. For the record limit on the ZV-1 please see this link : https://helpguide.sony.net/dc/1910/v1/en/contents/TP0002870058.html?search=limit

Q: 4. I'm planning to use this exclusively for Zoom calls. I just need to confirm that I can plug it in via USB (to either my iMac Pro or a USB wall charger), and that the camera will indeed remain powered and not shut off?

A: If you're connecting via USB, once setup with the proper software (Sony Imaging Edge Webcam) and the ZV-1 set to the proper settings (PC Remote), it should work as you need - but please note there are some limitations with that software and some versions of MacOS. So please confirm at (https://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app/webcam/en/) for more details and instructions.

Q: 5. Does it has real-time eye tracking like the A6600 for video?

A: Yes, it does.

Q: 6. Ok, so I own this camera, and just did my first Zoom meeting with it. Plugged in with it's USB cable to my iMac (installed the Sony Imaging Edge software, etc.) it works great and I get lots of compliments. HOWEVER, the battery drains very quickly. I got less than an hour out of it (I set the power off temp to "High", etc.). So, I don't see how I could use this camera continously for Zoom meetings with that kind of battery drain. Should I hook it up to a high-amp USB charger, and then use the HDMI out and go into my iMac that way (with something like a BluTec HDMI adapter on the iMac)?

A: You can operate this camera by USB power when there is a battery in the camera.

Q: 7. Does this fit into Godox s2 bracket ?

A: This umbrella can be used with the S2 bracket.

Q: 8. If I want to use this camera as a webcam via HDMI (I have video capture device), can I power it via USB-C or power adapter and do not use battery at all? I might be using the camera on Zoom calls for many hours and would rather not worry about the battery.

A: According to Sony, you can connect the ZV-1 with the included Micro USB cable to a USB wall adapter while the battery is inserted into the camera. One such adapter is the Xuma 2.4A USB Charger with Folding Prongs, BH # https://bhpho.to/3kCJpjO

Q: 9. is the iPhone X compatible with this?

A: So long as you can download the supporting Accsoon SEE App for the Accsoon SeeMo iOS/HDMI Smartphone Adapter it would be compatible.

Q: 10. Does it provide power to the phone when used as a monitor?

A: No, the the Accsoon SeeMo HDMI iOS/HDMI Smartphone Adapter BH #ACSEEMO cannot provide power to the phone.
