The white Atlas Sound GD87W is a passive, non-shielded 8" ceiling speaker with an 8W multi-tap transformer designed for voice amplification and background music reproduction in a variety of environments ranging from academic institutions to industrial buildings. When driven by a 70V/100V power amplifier (available separately), the 8" treated paper woofer and 3" tweeter yield a nominal frequency range of 45 Hz to 19 kHz. A built-in crossover network ensures proper distribution of frequencies to the speaker components.
With a 120° dispersion pattern and a pre-installed CRS baffle, the GD87W is well suited for installation in tile bridges, mounting rings, and enclosures. The color-coded 6" wire lead ensures simple wiring at the desired tap setting. The GD87W includes mounting hardware for easy installation.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will this head allow me to shoot portrait mode?
A: Yes, it does! It has an adjustable plate, which allows you to rotate 90 degrees, and hence move your camera from landscape to portrait mode, without putting your quick release plate on sideways. It's one of the major upgrades from the L-10
Q: 2. The vertical and horizontal gets stuck, takes two hands to move it when loosened. What could be the answer?
A: We have not had any movement problems with ours. I would suggest exchanging it for a different one.
Q: 3. I own a 66.5 3 Legged Thing mono pod with 3/8 mounting screw coming out of a 2 diameter mounting plate. Will it work with this setup?
A: I believe your set up will work without any issue. I used it with my Sirui CF monopod that also has a 3/8 mounting screw and it is very sturdy & flexible.
Q: 4. Is this compatible with Sirui T-2005X tripod?
A: Yes, but it was designed for monopods you may want to look at Sirui ball heads.
Q: 5. Will this head work with Sirui PH-120 quick release plate?
A: Yes the base is Arca - Swiss compatible
Q: 6. Does this head actually tilt up to 90 degrees? Its photo shows the thread mark up to 90 but the hole doesn't seem to go far as 90 but stops around 75 in both directions. Just wanting to make sure since I need the head to tilt up to 90 degrees.
A: Yes it does tilt 90% in both directions and the head will rotate a full 360% if you tilt 90% with the camera for portrait orientation on a tripod or monopod you cannot tilt the camera up or down,,,,if you set up the camera to tilt up or down with the 90% now you cannot tilt 90% for portrait orientation,,,,not as versatile as a ball head and as I have mine on a monopod not a tripod and i have my camera on the head set up for 90% for portrait shooting i just tilt my monopod forward or back for up and down shooting..
Q: 7. New to tripods. Question regarding quick release fit. Do plates fit a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT5?
A: Yes, as far as I know cameras come with a standard size threaded hole in the bottom that will match the screw on the quick release plate. Quick release plates from different tripods likely won't match. I have a couple of this type tripod. They are light-weight, inexpensive, and good for day excursions. Not super stable (especially with a heavy camera on top), but better than handheld in low light, etc. For more serious stuff I have a Manfrotto tripod. It's pretty heavy for quick hikes, but solid as a rock. Hope that helps.
Q: 8. Is the head removable so I can add a slider onto?
A: If you mean by head the piece you attach to the camera: yes. It is removable. The tripod has a little lever to put it in place and leave your camera very secure.
Q: 9. Is the tilt movement smooth and fluid like? Can the minimum tension or drag of the tilt movement be adjusted?
A: Yes, the tension of the tilt movement is fully adjustable and it is smooth as silk.
Q: 10. I use RRS L brackets on my Fuji X bodies. Will the Arca-Swiss type clamp on this head hold RRS plates and L brackets securely?
A: I have used it with a Kirk L bracket with no issues.
