The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sens, with Hardwired 3.5mm Locking Connector for AKG Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to an AKG PT51, PT300, or PT900 wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 1. Which wireless remotes work for canon 5d mark iv? Cause a vello one that says it does, doesn't fit.

A: I'm not sure about the 5d. I use it on the 70d and it works fine

Q: 2. Will this work with the new Sony RX100 VA?

A: The Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Sony Multi-Terminal B&H # VERCS2II has replaced the release you were asking about. It will work with the RX100 VA. Also consider using your smartphone to remotely fire your camera; all it takes is an app. The really cool thing is that you can see what the camera is looking at on your phone. You can adjust exposure and focus as well as the shutter.

Q: 3. Do you sell the ShutterBoss transmitter separately as well? I've lost the transmitter but still have the receiver.

A: Alain, the units are sold separately. My receiver stopped working and but the transmitter was ok. You have the opposite issue but you should be able to purchase only the transmitter. I believe it is listed in the catalogue.

Q: 4. is it compatible with D3200?

A: This will work with your D3200.

Q: 5. Does it work with the A7iv?

A: Yes Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Sony Multi-Terminal is compatible with the Sony A7iv.

Q: 6. Will this remote work with a Nikon D3000 and how long is the cord/cable?

A: Unfortunately, as the Nikon D3000 DSLR camera does not have a MC-DC2 remote terminal, the Vello Shutterboss Version II Timer Remote Switch for Nikon with DC2 Connection cannot be used with the Nikon D3000 DSLR camera. The Nikon D3000 does not have a remote terminal; it is only compatible with infrared wireless remote controls, such as the Nikon ML-L3 Infrared Remote, B&H # NIMLL3, or the Vello IR-N1 Infrared Remote Control for Select Nikon Digital Cameras, B&H # VEIRN1.

Q: 7. Will it work with a Nikon d3400?

Q: 8. How do I get a Canon Rebel T6 to complete all shots in bracket mode (AEB) with the Shutterboss in Interval Mode? I have the camera on burst and AEB, which works fine and gives me three bracketed shots when I hold the camera's shutter button down, but the Shutterboss only depresses the shutter long enough for the next shot of the bracket.

A: Have to change the mode on the Shutterboss to get more than one shutter press. There are a couple of ways to do this. One, just push the right button on the Shutterboss and it will change the single box at the bottom of the display (shutter controls) to a continuous shooting box. This will have it press the shutter multiple times in a row until you let go, but doesn't stop at the end of your bracket. The better way, IMO, is to keep pressing to the right until you get to the intervalometer settings. I leave DELAY at zero, LONG at zero, INTVL at 1 second and change N to the desired number of bracketed shots (press and hold the center button of the directional pad to change). This way, one button press of TIMER START/STOP (not the shutter button) will automatically press the shutter button the desired number of times and stop.Hope this helps!

Q: 9. Will this control auto-focus?

A: The shutter button on the ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Canon with 3-Pin Connection will control autofocus the same as the actuator on the camera. If you push half way it engages autofocus and if you push all the way down you engage the shutter and take a still. When starting a time-lapse interval, the ShutterBoss will control the autofocus for the first shot, but will NOT for the consecutive shots.

Q: 10. Once you start a interval sequence, can you adjust the camera settings between shots(on the camera itself)? Hoping to be able to use this for the Holy Grail time-lapse method on the Sony a6500. I ask because the play memories app does not allow you to change settings once the sequence starts...

A: Yes you can change the settings on the camera in between shots.
