The Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a 4-pin Hirose connector for specific* Audio-Technica transmitters.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear pads. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. For more information on which color earset suits you best, refer to the Countryman support page.

The included 2mm Diameter Duramax Cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the clamp be removed from the ball stem? I may want to change to a lever-release clamp, as offered by Really Right Stuff. It appears the K40 clamp can be unscrewed, but can't tell about the K30 or K20.

A: It can definitely be removed, because I own this ballhead and have removed the clamp. But you will need to heat the screw with a small propane torch or even a soldering pen. The screw has been fastened using a loctite style adhesive which will require a fair amount of heat to undo.

Q: 2. What is the flash duration at full power? (t0.5 and t0.1)

A: t0.1 1/800th at full power. t0.5 is not specified by the manufacturer.

Q: 3. Will it take Haoge 350mm Y-type Telephoto Lens Support Bracket?Want to use with Canon 80D + Tamron 150-600mm + y bracketThanks!

A: The best thing to do is contact Sirui, On their web site you will find a phone number to contact them. I would not know about the bracket properly fitting.

Q: 4. With Feisol CT-3441T tripod, would you be able to reverse fold the legs without splaying?

A: Not familiar with the Feisol. Specs Physical Ball Sphere Diameter 1.73" / 44 mm Dimensions H: 4.4" / H: 112.0 mm Weight 1.1 lb / 0.5 kg Based on my experience it should fit between the legs.

Q: 5. I've got an L bracket on my Canon 5d iii, what plate would I use with this setup?

A: You can use the included quick release plate with the Canon 5D Mark III and L bracket.

Q: 6. My wife just bought 2 of these thinking they would work with my Xt-1 trigger but it looks like I need the 16 trigger? Is that right?

A: Yes, this Godox E300 requires the Godox XT-16 trigger to fire it.

Q: 7. Is this operates by its own or needs power supply?

A: The following unit is a AC unit but can be powered by gas generator of battery power station GOAL ZERO Yeti 1500X Portable Power Station https://bhpho.to/3mhbCi6

Q: 8. What the difference between 1/4 and 3/8 fixed screw between RRS heads & Induro monopods?

A: 1/4"-20 threads are meant for mounting cameras and small accessories, where as 3/8"-16 threads are meant for tripods, heads, and larger devices. In this case, your Induro monopods come with a reversible mounting screw. Simply use the correct side (1/4"-20 is for cameras and the wider 3/8"-16 is for heads) and your RRS head (along with 99% of tripod heads) will mount without issue.

Q: 9. Will this fit on Vangurad Veo 2 235CB tripod?

A: As the head on the Vanguard VEO 2 235CB Carbon Fiber Tripod is replaceable and uses a standard 3/8 -16 male tripod screw, yes, you may connect the Induro BHD2 Ball Head, B&H # INBALLHD2, to the center column on the tripod. However, do note that due to the design of the tripod that has the legs fold over the head in its closed position for storage purposes, the Induro BHD2 Ball Head may not allow the tripod legs to close completely. While we cannot test this combination for you, the head would fit, though you should be aware of the above caveat.

Q: 10. Do you have 100 - 240 50/60 hz input ac power?

A: Godox SK, QS and QT lines are 110v only. The MS and AD series are capable of being used on 110-240v.
