The tan B3 Omnidirectional Lavalier Mic, Low Sens, with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Nady Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The capsule is resistant to moisture, which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. The B3's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to a Nady UB10, UB16, WLT14, or WLT15 wireless bodypack transmitter. Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 150 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 1. Does this remote fit the Nikon D5300?

A: Yes, this remote is compatible with the Nikon D5300.

Q: 2. Does this work with the new 1Dx mark 2

A: Nowell, I have just returned from playing with a pre-production version of the 1Dx MkII. I can confirm the 3 pin cable release port is unchanged. However for those interested, it has been relocated from the left side of the camera to the bottom on the right side. This, move was to make space for the Ext Mic port. Also, in Aus, the MkII will be sold bundled with a 126Gb CFast card and reader. I don't know about other markets. Hope this helps, Mark...

Q: 3. Will this work with the pentax k-1?

A: Yes, the Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Canon with Sub Mini Connection would be compatible for use with the Pentax K-1 DSLR camera.

Q: 4. Does this remote work with the Sony A6500?

A: Yes, this would work with the Sony A6500

Q: 5. I have a Sony a6000 and want to use this remote for sports photography. Will this remote allow me to shoot in drive (continuous) mode at the full 11 FPS?

A: No, I found that when you set it to high speed and you use the wireless shutter release it only shoot in spurts of three. Even if you held the button down it will only shoot three frames at a time, so you'll have to keep releasing and pressing again to have continuous shots. Of course when you do this you loose the full potential of the camera. The only remote to give you the same capabilities of the on-camera shutter is the Wired remote. Please note that these Vello wireless remotes are very high in technology but very low in build quality. You'll find yourself buying new cables every few weeks if you allow even the most moderate stress on them. Even the Sony wired remote has a short lifespan. When the Shutterboss II is working it is truly wonderful. I am content with the three rapid shots (at the full 11fps) because I use it for birds flying off a static perch with the camera attached to a 600mm lens in manual focus. The three shots are fine for me because after three shots the bird will be out of focus anyway.

Q: 6. Once you start a interval sequence, can you adjust the camera settings between shots(on the camera itself)? Hoping to be able to use this for the Holy Grail time-lapse method on the Sony a6500. I ask because the play memories app does not allow you to change settings once the sequence starts...

A: Yes you can change the settings on the camera in between shots.

Q: 7. Will this remote work with a Nikon D3000 and how long is the cord/cable?

A: Unfortunately, as the Nikon D3000 DSLR camera does not have a MC-DC2 remote terminal, the Vello Shutterboss Version II Timer Remote Switch for Nikon with DC2 Connection cannot be used with the Nikon D3000 DSLR camera. The Nikon D3000 does not have a remote terminal; it is only compatible with infrared wireless remote controls, such as the Nikon ML-L3 Infrared Remote, B&H # NIMLL3, or the Vello IR-N1 Infrared Remote Control for Select Nikon Digital Cameras, B&H # VEIRN1.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with the Nikon D5100?

A: Yes this would be compatible with the Nikon D5100

Q: 9. Will it work with the Nikon Z7?

A: Yes this will work with the Z7.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the X-T2? I know its been answered but...the Vello RS-C1II wired remote with 2.5mm sub-mini connector is compatible with both the X-T1 and the X-T2 so I am curious to know why this model is only compatible with the X-T1 AND NOT the X-T2. Can someone please confirm?

A: I dont know.
