A: The Wimberly WH-200 handles my Nikon super-tele just fine. Don't know what adaptor plates you'll need with a Cannon rig, but I can tell you from experience you should buy the biggest, meanest, strongest tri-pod you can afford for that big lens! Buck Taylor

A: These aren't designed to break down like that. You can, but it isn't designed to be quick and easy. Should be safe as long as you put it back together tightly. I would recommend just packing it flat, or buying a different c-stand designed to break down like that.

A: Yes, we believe so. You can separate the legs from the pole. When separated from the legs, the pole is 31 long. We believe if you put it into the suitcase diagonally it would fit. And the legs are about 25 long when separated from the pole.

I purchased a taller one first and this shorter one as my second. I wish I had purchased two of these shorter ones since my ceilings are 8' tall.
