The 120V 24849B Tensioned Advantage Deluxe Electrol 45 x 80" Ceiling-Recessed Motorized Screen (fabric, roller, and motor available separately) from Da-Lite is designed to eliminate the extra step of finishing the screen with trim. The Advantage line of projection screens is designed with ceiling trim already in place. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in the ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Tensioned screens ensure the smoothest surface possible, and the screen features a closure door that hides the open space and screen in the ceiling, providing a cleaner aesthetic. The screen features simple in-ceiling installation that can be done in two stages. The screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, and the fabric assembly can be completed during the finishing stage.

Note: This box is part of a system. To complete the system you will also require the fabric, roller, and motor assembly. Purchasing the box first allows the box to be installed during the "rough-in" phase of construction. The screen and other components can then be installed once construction is complete. Please be sure to select the fabric, roller, and motor assembly with the exact size and features as designated by this box. The fabric, roller, and motor that goes with this model number is: 24849F.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a weight limit for the arm?

A: The weight limit is more determined by the limit of the stand keeping the boom, counterweight and load all under the limit of the stand.

Q: 2. can I ship my monitor and case via UPS and fed ex and feel safe that it won't get damaged in travel?

A: The case is strong, but the straps are not. After just one domestic shipment, the strap that keeps the case shut was damaged. Now we have to tape it shut with duct tape :(

Q: 3. I want to build a boom light stand. Can this boom be used with this stand?https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&O=&Q=&ap=y&c3api=1876%2C%7Bcreative%7D%2C%7Bkeyword%7D&gclid=CPHx85mt_NQCFdxMDQodQ48Ewg&is=REG&m=Y&sku=33087 target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&O=&Q=&ap=y&c3api=1876%2C%7Bcreative%7D%2C%7Bkeyword%7D&gclid=CPHx85mt_NQCFdxMDQodQ48Ewg&is=REG&m=Y&sku=33087/a

A: Definitely. I use 5 and/or 10 lb. Boa sandbags as counterweights.

Q: 4. Would this fit an Eizo CG277 or NEC PA272W?

A: It will fit the screens, but additional peripherals (including stands) will not fit.

Q: 5. I own a LG 29UM59-A 29" monitor, and according the product specs, the monitor is just under 30" wide. This case says it fits monitors between 27-32", but the interior length says it is 28.3". Does that mean my monitor won't fit?

A: This fits monitors between 27 to 32 inches diagonal. The interior dimensions of 28.3 x 19 x 3.5" are Length x Height x Width, which is a different specs. You would need to measure your monitor's L, W and H to be sure, but if it is 30" diagonal it should fit just fne.

Q: 6. Can this be used with ultra throw projectors?

A: The Kodak 80" 16:9 Tripod Projector Screen (Matte White) BH #KO80T169PSMW would not be the best choice for use with UST projectors. When used with a UST projector, set the lamp brightness to low or eco mode.

Q: 7. when I connect my Sony Alpha a68 to the scope will I have the magnification of .7 or 7?

A: You are not using the magnification of the eyepieces. Your power (magnification) will be 7X

Q: 8. What are the inside dimensions of the case? I have a mounting plate on the TV and need to know if the 40 TV will fit with the mounting plate attached.

A: The inside width is 5in. Although your mounting plate and TV might fit as a complete unit I would NOT recommend doing so. The plastic exterior would not be able to withstand any kind of blow on the mounting plate equivalent area which would cause harm to the TV. True there are two (2) vertical foam pads, that are three (3) inches wide, that run equidistant and vertically on either side of the TV cavity (which would leave the area for a mounting plate to be attached); however, that mounting plate area is unprotected. Huge risk there if you proceed.

Q: 9. For the Matthews Mini Boom (45-80 ), what is the weight capacity when the boom is fully extended?

A: It is 8 lbs maximum capacity at full extension.

Q: 10. Is there a space to store the base and pole from a monitor? Looks like it only fits the screen.

A: This has interior dimensions of 28.3 x 19 x 3.5". It will all depend on what the base and pole make the overall dimensions of the monitor.
