The Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is black and features a 2.5mm Stereo Sub-mini connector for Samson transmitters.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear pads. Heavier combinations, like the 100-500mm and 28-70mm f/2 might see limited success when the ball head is used in various positions. The 494 ball head does not accept arca-swiss style plates. However, the 200PLPro plate that comes with it is compatible with arca-swiss ball heads (it's weird, I know). The 494 will accept 200PL and 200PLPro plates, so it will work on an R5 without an RRS plate or L-bracket.
