This is an APS-C lens and so will only be using the center part of your camera sensor. This sensor would not cover the Full Frame sensor of that camera. This lens would be used in APS-C crop mode with a 1.5 crop.

A: I have the X5, not the X5R. The7.5mm 3.5 lens fits (dimensions) but it is 45 grams heavier than any other lens I use. I have the 12mmOly, 15mm DJI, 25 mmOly, 45mm Oly and 14-42 Oly. They all work fine, but have different balancing requirements. At some point, people put too much on the gimbal. Sure, you can balance it, but the gimbal motors are working harder (my opinion). Then, when the gimbal chatters, or stops working, people blame the gimbal.
