The blue CBA-HPX2000 Camera BodyArmor for Panasonic AJ-HPX2000/2001 from Porta Brace offers custom-built protection for these camcorders. The water-resistant BodyArmor is constructed from durable 1000D Cordura, and fastens around the camera using hook-and-look fasteners and a zipper. Cutouts and a vinyl window enable you to maintain access to the camera's controls. The snug fit of the BodyArmor enables secure handling of the camcorder. The cover's back end expands to accommodate various battery and wireless microphone combinations.

The Camera BodyArmor covers include a reversible, waterproof Rain Top that is white (reflective) on one side, for shooting in the sun, and black on the other side for protection against rain and dust. The padded interior of this cover is lined with breathable mesh, maximizing airflow between the cover and camera. I used my new TC-2001 yesterday. It worked well, my only problem was focusing my 600mm lens. Once I got used to it I did OK. I think with a little more practice I will be very happy. 5

I use this on the 150-600mm Contemporary lens which I mainly use on my EOS C100 video camera. Surprisingly enough(!) the C100 Dual Pixel autofocus works reasonably well even with the 2001 installed. That said, I feel that at the effective 1200mm focal length manual focus yields somewhat better results, since the depth of field is quite narrow and moving objects (after all it IS video!!!) can easily go in and out of focus and cause a lot of hunting which also consumes a lot of battery power. But all things considered it's a good addition to a nice lens. 5

As a rule, I have never found 2X tele extenders to meet my expectations with regard to resolution. I am happy to report that this one surprised me. I use it both on my Canon 6D and EOS 5M along with my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary. While this lens will not auto-focus on the 6D, it will do so on the EOS M5, it being a mirrorless camera. Consequently, I most likely will be using it the majority of the time on the M5. I can unequivocally recommend this extender. 5

I own a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens on a Canon EOS 90D. I was a little hesitant to purchase the TC-200 2x Teleconverter as I wasn't sure how it might effect the image quality.
