The black E6i (TA4F) from Countryman is a miniature, omnidirectional, earset condenser microphone designed for accurate voice reproduction (speaking and singing) and near-invisible appearance in theater, concerts, lectures, houses or worship, and more. It features a water- and wind-resistant capsule that delivers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions and should be used when feedback is not common.

The 5’ detachable cable has a diameter of 2mm, and features a TA4F connector for compatibility with Sabine transmitters. The E6i offers a flexible boom for versatile placement. The three protective caps yield different high-end frequency presence. The supplied windscreen protects the condenser element, and reduces plosives and wind noise. A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear section. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. The included 2mm diameter cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

If you have both options, the yes it wil work on your camera. One thing that I do not like baout this mic is that it cannot be adjusted for direction. It has a cheap mount and thecamera will only point in the direction that the mount was molded in, which does not necessarily mean exactely straight.
