Designed to eliminate the extra step of finishing the screen with trim, the 220V 70137EBL Advantage Electrol 72.5 x 116" Ceiling-Recessed Motorized Screen from Da-Lite is designed with ceiling trim already in place. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets are included to make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Advantage Electrol screen features simple in-ceiling installation that can be done in two stages. The screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, and the fabric assembly can be completed during the finishing stage.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How hot do these lights get? What gloves would be sufficient protection?

A: This is a typical hot light. You will want leather gloves - or at least good heavy cloth work gloves if you need to handle this after it has been on for a few minutes and for at least up to about 20 minutes after it is shut off.

Q: 2. Are there two lights included with this unit. Are the lights 5600K?

A: Yes, the kit comes with two Impact One Monolights. They are strobe type lights and are daylight rated.Note the camera you use this with needs to have a sync port or you will need to get an adapter or wireless sync. And this is made for still photos not video.

Q: 3. 5600 k or tungsten?

A: This kit would contain monolights, which produces a color temperature of 5600K.

Q: 4. I have set this up and use an on-camera flash to trip the two lights BUT I am NOT able to vary the output of the flash. I dial from full to 1/8 but only the modeling light varies in intensity. Am I doing something wrong?Lucian

A: Just to be sure - when reducing flash power, you must dump the flash first and then measure power. This means if the flash is at full power and you reduce it to an 1/8, you must first fire a flash to dump the power out of the flash capacitors and reduce their charge to an 1/8 and then measure your flash output. If the flash remains at full for a 3rd and 4th shot, then it may be faulty.

Q: 5. What is the maximum watt light you can use?

A: These monolights can only except a modeling lamp up to 60 watts. The strobes themselves offer 100 watt/sec of power on each.

Q: 6. Are there also soft boxes included?(:

A: Comes with two soft boxes. I bought with two umbrellas as well, which I used shooting 141 head and shoulders photos on my first assignment. Everything but the synch cord worked perfectly.

Q: 7. two strobes, two soft boxes, two stands and one sync cord- Are they included in this kit?

A: This kit would include two Impact EX 100 monolights, two softboxes with speed rings, two sync cables, two power cords, flashtube/modeling lamp for each head, a reflector for each head, spare fuses for each head, Impact 8 ft light stands and a 1 year warranty on each head.

Q: 8. What kind of slave/remote unit is best for the strobes with a small budget?

A: A good radio trigger option on a small budget that is compatible with this monolight kit is the Impact PowerSync16 DC Radio Slave System. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 9. Will this work with the remote wireless flash signal produced by the OMD EM-10?

A: I'm unfamiliar with that specific wireless trigger system, but I have used two different wireless triggers with this light kit successfully. As long as the trigger uses a 1/8 mono plug, you should be fine. If not, you can buy adapters to make these things work.

Q: 10. My flash tube broke. Is that covered in the one year warranty ?

A: Unfortunately, the warranty for this monolight only covers defects in the unit as a whole. It does not cover lamps.
