Designed to eliminate the extra step of finishing the screen with trim, the 220V 70137EFL Advantage Electrol 72.5 x 116" Ceiling-Recessed Motorized Screen from Da-Lite is designed with ceiling trim already in place. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets are included to make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Advantage Electrol screen features simple in-ceiling installation that can be done in two stages. The screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, and the fabric assembly can be completed during the finishing stage.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there also soft boxes included?(:

A: Comes with two soft boxes. I bought with two umbrellas as well, which I used shooting 141 head and shoulders photos on my first assignment. Everything but the synch cord worked perfectly.

Q: 2. How hot do these lights get? What gloves would be sufficient protection?

A: This is a typical hot light. You will want leather gloves - or at least good heavy cloth work gloves if you need to handle this after it has been on for a few minutes and for at least up to about 20 minutes after it is shut off.

Q: 3. I just received my impact EX-100A monolight today. And realized my cord is a European cord. I wanted to know if I am able to get an adapter for it so that it works, or do I have to return it?

A: Hi Sharlene, you have bought the 220V AC unit, so, you must know if where you are you have that electricity. If you are, you just need to buy the adapter. I have used mine in Chile where the electricity comes at 220V AC, but I needed an adapter to plugging in.

Q: 4. What is the maximum watt light you can use?

A: These monolights can only except a modeling lamp up to 60 watts. The strobes themselves offer 100 watt/sec of power on each.

Q: 5. Would it attach to Westcott Flex 1x1? They look exactly the same in size.

A: No it will not fit.

Q: 6. What kind of slave/remote unit is best for the strobes with a small budget?

A: A good radio trigger option on a small budget that is compatible with this monolight kit is the Impact PowerSync16 DC Radio Slave System. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 7. I have a Nikon D3300, Do I need to buy the PowerTrigger transmitter in order to make the Flash work? Or the sync cord will do the job.

A: I am not familiar with Nikon but I can tell you that the sync cord works with my Canon DSLR. As long as there is an outlet on the side of the camera, which there should be, it should work fine.

Q: 8. How is this different than the APCRBC115? Is this compatible with the SMX1500RM2U and its expansion modules?

A: The manufacturer would create different replacement batteries for different products. APC only refers to #115 as the only compatible option to SMX1500RM2U.

Q: 9. Does this unit ship with barn doors?

A: No barn doors are sold separately

Q: 10. Are there two lights included with this unit. Are the lights 5600K?

A: Yes, the kit comes with two Impact One Monolights. They are strobe type lights and are daylight rated.Note the camera you use this with needs to have a sync port or you will need to get an adapter or wireless sync. And this is made for still photos not video.
