Q: 1. will this fit in New Sony 70-200mm f2.8 GM Mark II??

A: Yes, Really Right Stuff LCF-101 Replacement Foot for Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS and FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lenses is also compatible with the 2nd generation of Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens.

Q: 2. Is there a way to connect the Peak Design Anchor Connector to the foot in such a way that doesn’t interfere with the arca Swiss dovetail being used?

A: There is no way to attach a Peak Design Anchor Connector directly on the Really Right Stuff LCF-11 Replacement Foot for Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR and AF-S 500mm /5.6E PF ED VR Lenses without interfering with the Arca-type dovetail baseplate. However, you can attach the Peak Design Anchor Connector to a Really Right Stuff QD Strap Swivel (D-Loop) and quickly attach it to the replacement foot when not on the Arca-type dovetail baseplate: https://bhpho.to/3UBwIt1.

Q: 3. Will this work with a Nikkor 200-500mm VR ED lens and a Wimberley MH-100 Mono gimbal head?

A: This is not the correct foot for that lens. For that lens you need the Really Right Stuff Collar Foot Package for Nikon AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens linked here. https://bhpho.to/3uCRABA. This will work fine on the Wimberley.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the Nikon 200mm F2 VRII?

A: No, the Kirk LP-63NSG Replacement Lens Foot with KES Sure Grip Coating for AF-S NIKKOR 500mm is not designed for use with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2G ED VR II Lens. Kirk does not list a replacement foot designed for use with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2G ED VR II Lens. However, they do list the Kirk Universal Multi-Use Lens Plate with 2 Screws (4.5"), B&H # KIKLP4502NV2, as recommended for use with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2G ED VR II Lens.

Q: 5. Does the RRS foot get the same height as the original foot from Sony? Will it fit into the Sony lens case if the RRS foot is mounted?

A: Yes. The RRS foot is almost exactly the same height as the original Sony foot. A very tiny bit taller. It's definitely longer. It still fits fine in the Sony lens case.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with lens support kit, Kirk LS-1? Does it interfere with the lens hood of new Sony 70-200 f2.8 GM II 2nd generation when we reversed and attached lens hood on lens

A: Yes.

Q: 7. I own the FE 100-400mm and the original foot now shows a looseness even when screwed in to the max. The Looseness is from front to back. Unless I am mistaken, orginally there was no looseness. I am wondering if the design of this replacement will address this issue and offer a perfect thightness? Thanks!

A: I can answer my own question... The problem was not with the removable foot as I thought, but with the fixed portion on the lens where the removable foot attaches. That silver metal piece is screwed in the body of the lens. The screws unscrewed themselves due to vibrations in the Jeep on an African safari. I have now used removable Blue Loctite to insure that it does not happen again. I wanted to share it so that others can do prevention in making sure it does not happen to them and inflict bigger damage.

Q: 8. Dies it work with 70-200mm f2.8 GII ED?

A: The GII is an earlier model than the newer ED version of Nikons 70-200 2.8 VR. If you have the older model, this lens foot will not fit properly. RRS makes a lens foot specifically for the G version.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with th new Sony 300mm F2.8 GM?

A: Yes, the LCF-101 foot is also compatible with the Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM.

Q: 10. Will this foot prevent accidental release?

A: Yes it will
