The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.
The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.
The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.
A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is cocoa and features a Switchcraft TA3F connector for use with AKG wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).
This E6i sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture speaking and vocals without noise and distortion.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. IS this head compatible with the oben 1461 tripod?
A: Yes, it will fit the Oben 1461.
Q: 2. Compatible with peak design tripod?
A: The GH-M1 is compatible with the Peak Design tripod, but you will need the universal head adapter from PD. https://bhpho.to/3rChEhV
Q: 3. Has anyone compared the Kirk MPA-2, the ProMediaGear Scepter HM1, and the Really Right Stuff MH-01 LR? All three are high-end versions of the old Manfrotto 3232 tilt head swivel. The question is: are they worth the money and which of the three is the best option?
A: Haven't tried the PromediaGear head, but I have used seven different tilt heads, including RRS, Sirui, Leofoto, Sunwayfoto, Hejnar photo, etc. The one I like the most is the Hejnar photo version. It has the biggest swivel arm and feels the most stable among all. The finish is as good as RRS but the price is only half of that. Made in USA too.
Q: 4. On my head the arm does not swing freely. There is a little resistance from the adjustment knob. The adjustment has a sweet spot and then tightens up in both directions, Is this unit defective?
A: I would say this unit has some level of defect and should be returned and exchanged or contact the manufacturer to see if the warranty would cover the issue.
Q: 5. Can this be used with an ELB 500 or 1200 power pack?
A: Unfortunately, this ringflash is not compatible with the Elinchrom ELB 500 or 1200 packs.
Q: 6. Hey i heard that flat heads are meant for stills not video is this a exception
A: Definitely not for stills. It can be used for stills of course, but its purpose is much smoother pans and tilts than what you can even hope for from your still photos setup. The head is too big to be comfortable as a standard head for all uses. For stills, I use a quick release ball head on a dedicated medium weight tripod. This video head is dedicated to a solid heavier duty tripod with the intent of mounting the camera directly to it for pans and tilts, or locking it down and mounting a slide or other cinema tool that carries the camera in motion.
Q: 7. Can this head be used on the Manfrotto XPRO MPMXPROC4US Carbon Fiber Monopod? Thx
A: You may use this head on a Manfrotto XPRO MPMXPROC4US Monopod.
Q: 8. I have a Benro Tad37c adventure tripod. Will this head work on it and would it be sufficient for a spotting scope?
A: No, The SmallRig CH10 Compact Fluid Head has a 1/4 20 and your tripod has 3/8 connections for video heads. You could use an adapter to mount this head to the Benro tripod like the following. CAMVATE 3/8"-16 Female to 1/4"-20 Male Tripod Adapter BH #CAC2739 https://bhpho.to/3GqJ9AS
Q: 9. I have a Slik Pro 700 DX and am looking to upgrade the head to a fluid head. I am looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade and wanted to know if the Slik 504QF-II fits head my existing tripod?
A: No you cannot do anything with it it will not fit
Q: 10. What is the diameter of the ball?
A: The ball sphere diameter of the FLM 55GX Centerball Tripod Head is 2.2" or 55 mm.
