The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is tan and features a Switchcraft TA5F connector for use with Audio-Technica wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the Z 7ii with the new battery grip?

A: No, this only works with just the body.

Q: 2. Is this bracket compatible with a Foolography Unleashed N2 on a Z6/Z7?

A: While the Foolography was not tested, it should fit since the bracket has room for the Nikon WR10 which is similar in size.

Q: 3. How is the image quality using those Extention Tubes vs a micro lens? In other words, does the tube degrade image quality vs bare lens?

A: A real macro lens has some advantages over a "standard lens" and extension tubes. If your subject is perfectly flat (a postage stamp, for instance), a real macro lens (one designed to focus 1:1 scale or close to it) will be sharper in the corners. If the subject has depth (like probably 99% of the stuff you take pictures of with a macro lens), then you NEVER have enough depth-of-focus. If you want even a few millimeters of the subject in focus at 1:1 scale, you need to set the lens to a REALLY small aperture. My Nikon macro lenses have an f32 setting. Most standard lenses can only stop down to f16. f32 is a big advantage. Using an extension tube to increase magnification just increases your need to use smaller and smaller apertures to keep anything in focus. BUT... a 50mm to 100mm prime lens and ext. tubes is still a great way to get high-magnification shots. You would have to take a lot of close-up images to justify the difference in cost between tubes and a real 105mm macro lens. I would certainly just use tubes and a 50mm lens while saving up for a 105mm macro. Don't waste your money on a macro shorter than 100mm. The extra subject to lens distance you get with 100+mm focal length is really important to good subject lighting, among many other things.

Q: 4. Is Vello AF tube compatible with following combination of Camera + LenaCamera: Canon 70DLens1 : Tamron 90mm Macro without VCLens2 : Canon 18-55 EF-s

A: Yes, the Vello Auto Extension Tube Set for Canon EOS is compatible with the Canon 70D and Tamron Macro 90mm and Canon 18-55mm EF-S lenses.

Q: 5. Why does my 18-135mm Canon EFS lens not autofocus with these extension tubes?

A: The Vello Auto Extension Tube Set for Canon EF/EF-S Mounts and Lenses will have an extremely narrow area that can be focused--you might be slightly too close or slightly too far away; even a few millimeters difference can cause the focus to be lost. Always try to use a tripod for macro photography.

Q: 6. What advantages does this bracket have over the RRS Lightweight Bracket?

A: The Really Right Stuff Ultralight L-Bracket for Nikon Z 7 and Z 6, B&H # REBZ7LULLPLT, is a single piece that may only be used as an L-bracket. As it is a single piece, it is smaller and lightweight, measuring 4.17 x 3.03 x 1.50 inches (105.8 x 76.8 x 38.1 mm) LxHxW in size, and weighing 2.3 oz (66.9 g). The Really Right Stuff L-Plate Set for Nikon Z7 and Z6, B&H #REBZ7LSET, is a combination set that includes both a base plate and a upright "L" component, so you may choose to either use the base plate by itself or use it as an L-bracket. Configured as an L-bracket, it would be larger and heavier than the single piece Ultralight L-plate, measuring 5.73 x 2.37 x 3.14 inches (146 x 60 x 80 mm) and weighing 4.6 oz (129 g). It includes a hex key to assemble/disassemble the L-bracket as a free accessory. Other than size and weight, when configured as an L-bracket, both the Ultralight option and the 2-piece option would work similarly.

Q: 7. Will these extension tubes give me the magnification needed to take pictures of snowflakes while mounted on EF-S 18-55mm canon lens?

A: You would want to use a macro with bellows or a macro with these tubes for that much magnification. you will get as close as you would like with just the tube set for snowflakes no.

Q: 8. Is this the base plate design that covers the entire bottom including small flange around the battery bay?

A: Yes.

Q: 9. does it works on Nikon d810 along with nikkor 105 mm f/2.8 macro.??.plz suggest..

A: You shouldn't have any problems with this combination.

Q: 10. will these things fit a nikon D7000?

A: Yes, these extension tubes are fully compatible with the Nikon D7000 camera.
