The Countryman EMW Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is designed to reproduce vocals, musical instruments, and ambient audio sources with pristine detail and minimal handling noise. The capsule is highly resistant to moisture, making it a suitable solution for outdoor use, placement against skin, etc.

Clear audio reproduction with low rubbing and handling noise is a result of the EMW's omnidirectional polar pattern. The shelved frequency response features a smooth +6 dB boost between 2 and 15 kHz. This is the standard response for lavaliers worn on the outside of clothing (lapels, jackets, etc).

A wide variety of colors and connectors are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is cocoa and features a 1/8" (3.5mm) mini locking connector for use with AKG wireless transmitters.

The EMW is available in three frequency response types and this version features a shelved frequency response that compensates for reflections lost when mounted on the outside of clothing and fabric. The shelved response is standard for lavalier microphones worn on lapels, jackets, etc.

The square EMW lavalier is available in a variety of colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin, allowing you to select the version that is best suited for your application.

The attached cable is made of durable, break-resistant Kevlar for rigorous use without shorts or wear.

The EMW is credited for providing pristine audio with minimal handling and rubbing noise, due to its omnidirectional polar pattern.

This square, moisture-resistant capsule is ideal for use in humid conditions, on skin, outdoors, etc.

Q: 5. Any issues with 18650 batteries? We will be lending this out to students?

Q: 6. Do you need WiFi to connect the Bluetooth? I want to be sure for an outdoor trip where there wouldn't be wifi access.

A: No, bluetooth communicates with the camera and remote, no wifi needed.

Q: 7. I suppose so, but can anyone confirm the battery for this remote comes in the box? Thanks!

A: Yes, the Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control, B&H # CABRE1, includes a CR2032 3V Lithium Battery inside the unit. Once the indicator lamp does not light up when you press a button on the remote controller, it is then time to replace the battery. Q: 8. Will that have 2.4 cellphone interference? Do you have a long wired connection cable choice between the motors and any of the transmitter hand units? How long can it be and where do I get it?

A: We are not aware of any interference that would be caused by cellphones with this unit. There is a longer 18" Motor to Motor cable available as well, B&H # TIWCT037PS45. https://bhpho.to/31AvKRj

Q: 9. Will this item work as a receiver from a Godox TT685iiS flash and mount a Sony HVL- Have a Godox TT685iiS flash that I would like to use as a master flash and mount on camera. Have the camera setup as a master, flash turned off, and the G Godox Flash set at ch 02 Group A. Would like to use the WT-1T as the receiver and set it as the receiver to slave, Ch 02, Group A and install the Sony HVL-F60M flash on top of the Metz WT-1T as my second flash. Will this work as my second flash? The camera I am using is a Sony RX10M4

A: No. The following two systems have to different protocol systems so they will not communicate properly together.

Q: 10. will this work for the new mirrorless EOS R?

A: Yes it does. In fact, it's the only wireless option as the EOS R no longer has an IR sensor to use with the RC-6 wireless remote. So now my RC-6 is only useful for my 6D and 6D2.
