Countryman E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic With Medium Gain For Wireless Transmitters (no Cable, Tan)

The tan E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic with Medium Gain for Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one-tenth ounce. This water- and wind-resistant microphone can be used on either ear for capturing audio in houses of worship, theater, or outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 Earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers forget they're wearing a mic. Three sensitivity options cover general speaking to extremely powerful vocals and four color options allow you to match the E6 to your skin tone for minimum visibility.

In addition, the E6 Earset features three omni caps (very bright +8 dB, bright +4 dB, and flat +0 dB) that deliver response characteristics for most other applications such as recording flute and violin. The E6 Earset is available as a directional microphone too with cardioid and hypercardioid caps. This omnidirectional E6 Earset comes packaged without a cable. Cables are sold separately for direct connection to a variety of wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman E6 head-worn Earset is small and lightweight, and is hardly visible from a distance.

The E6 Earset's stainless steel boom is built tough and can be bent and re-bent many times to fit different performers. The E6 is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps.

The flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face and is available in multiple skin tones. Their protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones; caps for the directional earset adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid. Choose a sensitivity for speaking or singing with up to 140 dB SPL capability.

The E6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion and an SPL of up to 140 dB. It delivers rich, full band audio quality.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a position for rejecting unwanted sounds. Countryman's omnidirectional Earset offers a reduction of 12 dB compared to a lavalier mic, while the directional E6 Earset provides even more isolation. Excellent for houses of worship, theater, and outdoor events.

An E6 replacement cable installs in seconds. The snap-on cables are rugged and available for almost any wireless transmitter or for XLR inputs with phantom power.

For speaking and vocals.

Q: 1. Is my canon cn-e 18-80 t4.4L will be work without crop in super 35 mode? And tell me features in shooting with this set (my lens and c500mk2)

A: You will be able to use the CN-E 18-80 T4.4L with this camera, however it will have to be set to Super 35mm mode. The lens you have only covers a Super 35mm sensor.

Q: 2. Any issues with 18650 batteries? We will be lending this out to students?

A: some of the 18650 batters are too long for the battery compartment, the Zhiyun-Tech GMB-B117 18650 Lithium-Ion Battery will work

Q: 3. What kind of output signal has the C500 Mark II ? Specifically if someone wants to record with an Atomos Recorder? (Is it 4:2:2, 4:4:4...)

A: According to Canon, it is a 4:2:2 10-bit signal during XF-AVC and Cinema RAW recording.

Q: 4. How do all the Canon and other Super35 lenses adapt to the full frame sensor?

A: Canon makes EF Lenses that cover full frame and are fully compatible with the C500 MKII. The EF-S lenses only cover Super-35/crop sensor, therefore possibly vignetting.

Q: 5. What is included for $16,000? Screen? Arm? Viewfinder? Lens mount? Which lens mount?

A: The camera comes with a Canon EF mount. It includes the lcd monitor and the camera grip. It does not include the viewfinder. Q: 6. Does the camera accept timecode in and out as is? Or do you have to purchase the expansion pack with genlock?

A: Yes it does, it comes with a Timecode In/Out connection. The Expansion Pack adds sync/genlock, however it comes with a Timecode connection already.

Q: 7. Can BR-E1 and camera shutter both be used once paired with R6?

A: Yes, it is possible to use both the shutter button on the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital camera and the shutter button on the Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control to trigger the shutter on the Canon EOS R6 if you go to the camera's menu and go to [Shooting Menu: Remote Control] and set to [Enable]. I would not try to press the shutter button on the remote and the camera simultaneously, but if you are near your camera, you may use the camera's shutter button, then when you are at a distance from the camera, you can use the wireless remote without changing the camera settings.

Q: 9. 1) Is it possible to shoot 5952x3140 at either 50fps or 59.94fps in full frame? 2) Is it possible to shoot 4096x2160 in either 50fps or 59.94fps in full frame? 3) Is it possible to shoot 3840x2160 at 50fps or 59.94fps in full frame? I’m just trying to understand if there is a crop factor that gets applied if I shoot in 50fps or 59.94fps? Thank you.

A: According to Cinema5D, “Cinema RAW Light can be shot at 5.9K and 4K at up to 60 frames per second, and at 2K in up to 120 fps in a cropped mode, unfortunately. Once you switch to the XF-AVC codec in 10-bit 4:2:2, you can shoot 4K DCI, UHD, 2K and HD only, there’s no 5.9K option in this codec. (4K is delivered by 5.9K Oversample processing so no image crop applied). With XF-AVC you can also shoot up to 60 frames in 4K, and 120 frames in 2K and HD – but only cropped.”

Q: 10. Will this camera offer anamorphic recording formats and desqueeze for monitoring?

A: Yes it does. The C500 Mark II has Anamorphic shooting modes and offers de-squeeze for monitoring as well.
