The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a Screw-on TA4F connector for use with Beyerdynamic/Mipro wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I sync Timecode with ths unit as a master with a BMPCC 6K Pro using a 3.5 mm cable?

A: Yes, the Tentacle Sync Sync E Mk2 Timecode Generator is able to pass time code to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K Camera using a 3.5mm cable. Please note that you will need to go into the menu of the Pocket Cinema 6K camera to enable this feature.

Q: 2. will these tubes work with a D70S?

A: Yes, these tubes work perfectly with the D70S and D7100.

Q: 3. Can you use the extension rings with a true macro lens?

A: Yes you can. I have a Canon 100mm macro that I have used the extension tubes with and still get beautiful pictures - even of butterflies that dont stay still very long come out sharp. I would recommend this product. I keep it with me all the time.

Q: 4. Hi. Works on 55-300 or 50 1.4mm Nikon? Thanks

A: Confirmed working with nikon 55-300 and D7200

Q: 5. Can I run a singular Sync E to a Rolls RA163 distro amp and then use it to send timecode to 3 other devices?

A: No. The Tentacle Sync E mkII Timecode Generator needs to be connected directly to the device that you will be sending timecode to.

Q: 6. Are these extension tubes fully compatible with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300 lens?

A: Yes. I have used these extension tubes with my 28-300 many times with very good results.

Q: 7. Will this be compatible with a Sigma 50mm lens on a canon t6?

A: If the Sigma is compatible with Canon's EF or EFS mount, they should work. Just remember, that the range of focus is severely limited or tight, leading many first time users to think that they can't focus their camera using them. They can, but it takes about 3 minutes of practice.

Q: 8. When using ALL tubes stacked together with a Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens, what sort of magnification are we getting?

A: If you use all three tubes together on the 50mm f1.8 lens, your magnification will be very close to a 1:1 ratio.

Q: 9. Will these lenses keep the colors true? I need to take pictures of my handcrafted jewelry. My D3000 for some reason distorts colors, plus I need to get in closer for shots.

A: These are extension tubes, they have no glass in them and therefore will not affect the optical quality and color of the lens.

Q: 10. does anyone know what maximum ratio (e.g. 2:1) you can achieve with these on a canon 100mm f/2.8L and a canon 50mm f/1.8?

A: The set of 3 tubes will give maximum magnification of 1.65X with Canon 100L macro, and 1.45X with Canon 50mm F1.8II, and 1.51X with the new Canon 50mm STM. You can calculate the magnification for other lenses, on the site cambridgeincolour in the Tutorials section.
