Q: 3. I'm trying to figure out which Pluto trigger kit to get for my D7000. Can anyone help?

Q: 4. Is it Sony a7rv compatible yet?

As the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera has a built-in Multi/Micro USB Terminal on the side of the camera, yes, it is also compatible for use with the Miops Camera Trigger with Shutter Release Cable for Sony Multi-Terminal K listed above.

Q: 9. Is the only way to program this device is with a smart phone?

A: It has the ability to function as either a simple infrared remote or it can connect to a smartphone over Bluetooth 4.0 LE for programming and setup of advanced modes. Since it only operates as a simple IR remote without a smartphone, it would be strongly recommended that you get a smartphone too.

Q: 10. Will the remote fire a continuous burst when triggered via the laser? Or triggered via the button with the accessory IR transceiver?

A: The Pluto has a Burst mode. It is not very good in that the camera may not respond quickly enough to get the burst you want. That being said what there is a way if you only need 2 seconds and your camera has a burst mode. In the settings you can set the Pluto software to a Slow triggering camera which is equivalent to holding down the shutter. Settings are 0, 150ms, 1s, & 2s. If you set it to 2 seconds you will get a 2 second burst at whatever rate your camera is capable of doing. My Canon 7Dmk2 shot 16 exposures in that time using this function.
