The tan E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Highest Gain, with Detachable 2mm Cable and Mini 4-Pin Connector for MIPRO Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one-tenth ounce. It is a water- and wind-resistant microphone that can be used on either ear for capturing audio in houses of worship, theater, or outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 Earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers forget they're wearing a mic. Three sensitivity options cover general speaking to extremely powerful vocals and four color options allow you to match the E6 to your skin tone for minimum visibility.

In addition, the E6 Earset features three omni caps (very bright +8 dB, bright +4 dB, and flat +0 dB) that deliver response characteristics for most other applications such as recording flute and violin. The E6 Earset is available as a directional microphone too with cardioid and hypercardioid caps. This omnidirectional E6 Earset's cable terminates to a screw-on mini 4-pin connector for direct connection to a Mini MIPRO 4-pin model wireless bodypack transmitter.

The Countryman E6 head-worn Earset is small and lightweight, and is hardly visible from a distance.

The E6 Earset's stainless steel boom is built tough and can be bent and re-bent many times to fit different performers. The E6 is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps.

The flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face and is available in multiple skin tones. Their protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones; caps for the directional earset adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid. Choose a sensitivity for speaking or singing with up to 140 dB SPL capability.

The E6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion and an SPL of up to 140 dB. It delivers rich, full band audio quality.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a position for rejecting unwanted sounds. Countryman's omnidirectional Earset offers a reduction of 12 dB compared to a lavalier mic, while the directional E6 Earset provides even more isolation. Excellent for houses of worship, theater, and outdoor events.

An E6 replacement cable installs in seconds. The snap-on cables are rugged and available for almost any wireless transmitter or for XLR inputs with phantom power.

For general speaking.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What are the differences between the UltraStudio HD Mini from the HyperDeck Studio HD Mini?

A: The Ultrastudio is a capture and playback device that you can connect to your computer for streaming or other capture needs. The Hyperdeck Studio is a standalone recorder, you can not stream with the Hyperdeck. It is used mostly with production switchers. You would connect the Hyperdeck to the program output on the switcher and it will record to a SD card, SSD, or USB drive, depending on what Hyperdeck model.

Q: 2. Will this little box support stereoscopic 3D in full mode (2xSDI output) with AVID Media Composer Software?

A: It does not. Instead you would need to look at the UltraStudio 4K Extreme, which does support Dual Channel 3D Over SDI.https://bhpho.to/2lLKhDv

Q: 3. Can this be used on PC's with thunderbolt 3? Does the port have to be directly connected to thunderbolt 3 or can it pass through a doc? All PC/windows 10.

A: The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio HD Mini supports Thunderbolt 3 only. In order to do what it does, only TB 3 is fast enough.

Q: 4. How work this device to output signal with windows 10?, as second monitor? The 2 SDI ouputs and HDMI output send the same signal and I can use all simultaneously?. Example I can use in power point presentation with extended monitor and use this device as second monitor and show the full screen presentation using both SDI and HDMI ouputs?

A: This not for a second monitor, this is a video card to use with premiere, final cut or other software.

Q: 5. does this only record 1 input?

A: It has x1 SDI input. The unit is designed to work with their multi-input switchers; should work with SDI output devices.

Q: 6. Can this be used with Pomfort Live Grade?

A: This device becomes an input video stream to the system. BMD provides record software to write it to disk and Livegrade could process that in post. However for a real time grading, Livegrade would need to be able to read the video input stream directly. I do not have livegrade, so I agree you need to contact them.

Q: 7. Does this work with panasonic GH1 and Olympus FL-50?

A: The Vello FreeWave Mini-Stand Flash Trigger Set will be compatible with the Panasonic GH1 and Olympus FL-50, though there will be no TTL.

Q: 8. Does this work with Fuji X-T2 and EF-X500 flash?

A: Did not received it yet but it should work because it's using only the center standard pin for the contact. No automatic function or TTL are available with that product

Q: 9. Is there any way to get my HDMI only camera to input to this? I don't have SDI, but would love a thunderbolt 3 device for my 2017 MBP

A: You would use one of the many HDMI to SDI converters available. You could also consider the UltraStudio Mini Recorder which has HDMI and SDI inputs and is Thunderbolt connected.

Q: 10. Will this pass through CEA 608/708 close caption data?

A: Call blackmagic tech support, they are very helpfull.United States: +1 408 954 0500
