A: All the parts is solid metal no aluminum or plastic parts. Very solid C-stand for the price hand down there is nothing close to. I have 2 stands with 2 Interfit S1 500 Ws Strobes the only downside is the weight & that's with any decent C-stand it can be a pain to move around if you shoot in remote location like me.... A: It's a matter of personal preference, if you are shooting in studio and don't want any reflective surfaces to affect a shooting setup, black is best. Shooting outdoors, the black stand will get hotter in the sun.

A: A combination of the Kupo Baby Ball Head Adapter B&H # KUKG014212 fitted over a Kupo Baby 5/8 Grip Arm Pin B&H # KUKG002212, can insert into the grip head on the end of that C-stand. The Ball Head Adapter has a 3/8 screw for any ball head.
