A: The manfrotto 200PL plate does not snap in. You have to put the one side in the slot and then turn the screw to lock it in position. The arca works like any other arca plate, by placing it in slot and then turning the lock screw. Hope this helps.

Use a second quick plate for standard, non- Arca needs.
