Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this work with Scorro A2S?

A: Potentially yes, if the Scoro A2S notes an RFS2 sticker (or 2.4ghz on the bottom label). If not, then it uses the older RFS remote. The US broncolor service center can help identify your Scoro to see which remote will work, and potentially upgrade it if needed.

Q: 2. Can I use the poco lite with new Mobile battery pack? And is there any advantage to using pico heads over the heads that come with the new mobile packs?

A: Yes you can use the Picolite with the Move 1200L or Mobil battery power packs, however only the flash functionality will work. The modeling light and fan will not function when plugged into a battery pack. I think it would be preferable to use the dedicated heads with the battery pack (MobiLed with Move 1200L) so that you can have a modeling lamp and fan cooling) Only if you needed to use the dedicated and unique light shapers designed for the Picolite would it be advantagous to use the picolite with a battery pack.

Q: 3. can this light be powered only by the broncolor battery pack or can it be used by being plugged into a wall socket?

A: the Broncolor picolite will work on Broncolor powerpack ONLY. Either the scoro or the Move for the battery option

Q: 4. From what material is the pulso adaptor and the opposite part made?

A: The Pulso adapter is metal and various poly/plastics are used for the diffusion materias. The counter reflector is fabric.

Q: 5. What is included with this kit?

A: The kit comes with,The Para 133Focusing Device with Tilt Head4 x Suspension RopesFlash Bag 2 without InsertAccessory BagLimited 2-Year Warranty

Q: 6. does the transmitter turn off?

A: According to page 7 of the PDF MANUAL it enters an energy saving mode at eight hours which may elicit a slight delay if a flash event occurs during this mode Flash triggering is synchronized either via the central contact of the hot shoeor the sync jack of the camera. Outdoors, the remote control range is up to50 m; indoors, it is up to 30 m. The transceiver is powered by a lithium buttoncell (Li-Mn CR2450). To minimise energy consumption, the transceiver is setto an energy-saving mode after eight hours have elapsed. If a flash triggeringaction occurs through the camera whilst the RFS 2 or RFS 2.1 transceiver isin energy-saving mode, a slight delay of the synchronization with the camerashutter release can take place. The RFS 2 or RFS 2.1 transceiver quits theenergy-saving mode after this flash release.attention: although this radio system allows the selection of up to 99 studioaddresses, the number of actually available channels depends on theconnected rFs 2 or rFs 2.1 flash unit. Battery life is listed as 8 - 12 months or 100,000 flasheshttp://www.bron.ch/uploads/tx_bronproducts/RFS2.1_30_09_2013_Englisch_01.pdf

Q: 7. Is this compatible with Siros 800 S?

A: For use with the Siros 800S, we recommend the 133 Reflector Kit (BH #BRP133RK ) along with the coinciding broncolor Para adapter (BH #BRAPP88FS). The FT-designated reflector kits are designed to work primarily with broncolor's HMI and Tungsten FT lamp systems.

Q: 8. o if also using the para 133 for video and continuous light, the HR feature is needed? Also, am I correct i that the FT version is also required to use the 800L? Does the 800L generate enough power to use the full range of the para 133?

A: The 800L has enough power for this model.

Q: 9. Must the Picolite be used with a battery pack, or can it be plugged directly into a 120V wall socket?

A: The Picolite head can be plugged into any broncolor studio or battery flash pack, such as a Scoro, Senso or Move 1200L.

Q: 10. What is the difference between the Picolite and the Mobilite?

A: The Picolite would be a fan cooled head when connected to a Broncolor AC pack such as the Senso A2. On the other hand, the Mobilite would not offer fan cooling and is only for the Broncolor battery powered packs such as the Mobil A2L. Otherwise, both heads are rated for 1600 w/s and have about the same weight/size.

I love this product. I own a Manfrotto tripod and ballhead and love both products so I knew this would be a solid buy. The build is sturdy and the fact that it comes with the attachment adapters is killer. Very easy to use and supports flash and umbrella secure and tight
