The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a Switchcraft TA4F connector for use with specific* Electro-Voice/Telex wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Q: 6. Hi there, some questions:1- Is the mounting BAYONET (not external ring which seems metal) of each extension tube made of metal or plastic?2- If it's metal, can you tel if it's aluminum or something stronger/sturdier? 3- Can someone tell if these are better or worse (in build-quality) than the Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Canon (which are bit more expensive)?Thank you very much in advance!!

A: They are metal, not plastic. Don't know what kind of metal but it's strong. About the same quality as Kenko. I use mine regularity and they work great.

A: I used the tubes with my canon D70 and my 2 lenses, the canon 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 and the canon 50mm 1.4 and I had no communication problems between the lens and the camera being able to change the amplitude of the diaphragm and use the focus automatically with normality.

Q: 10. Can these be used on a canon 60mm EFS 2.8 lenson a canon mark 2 or mark 3If so is there any problems with vignetting??

A: Technically you could mount the extension tube between the APS-C format (EF-S) lens you have and your full-frame camera, however we do no regularly encourage this combination as it will likely cause vignetting.
