A: If you have an L-bracket, the connection mechanism is the same whether you are shooting horizontally or vertically. All you do is rotate the camera without changing anything on the monopod. Or if you are using a long lens, you just release the knob that controls the orientation of the foot relative to the lens. In other words, there is no problem.
