Q: 3. Is there any noticeable delay? We have tried to use cell phones in our theater and the delay is unusable.

A: There is very little noticeable delay with the Eartec UltraLITE communication system. This intercom system works very well for theaters, video production or live event crew communication.

A: Unfortunately you cannot add a 5th headset. The only way you can expand the system is to buy the hub and expand the whole system to 6 or 7.

A: Yes, you can add up to three more wireless headsets as well as one wired headset. The HUB accommodates up to eight wireless headsets and one wired headset for a total of nine users. A: Yes, if you are using a 4-person Eartec UltraLITE system that has one master headset and 3 remote headsets, you can add an additional remote headset and program it to work with the master headset. This type of system with one master headset can be used with up to 4 remote headsets for a maximum of 5 users. If you need to expand the system for more than 5 users, you can purchase the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base (B&H # EAHUB) which will replace the master headset (the electronics in the master headset provide the same type of functions as the HUB), and you can use up to 8 wireless remote headsets and one wired headset that will connect directly to the HUB for a total of 9 users.
