Q: 1. Q: My granddaughter is 13 years old, I would like some advice on whether an Intuos pro Pen & touch tablet or a Cintiq 13 HD be appropriate for her age ? Currently using an Intuos Tablet -Tom

A: That depends on her skill level and dedication to art. The intuos pro is basically the best you can get for under $600, but if she's not that experienced and won't use it much, I'd recommend something like a Wacom Bamboo. PS- I'm 16, and I started doing digital art when I was 10. I had a Bamboo when I was her age, and just got an Intuos now. Anyways, I'm really happy with it now :-)

Q: 2. Hi, before I may purchase a Wacom intuos pro small tablet, I need to ask if you have to have a computer to use it. I don't have a laptop or any computer so I want to know if you can draw and save your artwork right on the tablet.Sorry I didn't understand the features and didn't see this anywhere

A: This particular model requires that it is connected to a computer. Wacom mobile studio pro models have the features you are wanting but they are quite expensive. Unless there are any specific reasons for needing to purchase Wacom, I'd suggest going for something like iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. That'll get you the capabilities you need at a reasonable price.
