Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this backpack fit under the seat in front of you on most commercial airplanes?

A: Unfortunately, the Lowepro Pro Trekker BP 350 AW II Backpack (Black) is a little too large to fit under the airplane seat. To fit there the bag should be around 16 x 14 x 8 inches or less.

Q: 2. Is there a place for a water bladder?

A: Officially no, you could certainly fit one in the very back of the bag.

Q: 3. Can I buy the insert separately? I'd like to have two inserts that I can swap.

A: While the insert is removable, we do not carry it separately. This can only be obtained through LowePro directly.

Q: 4. Does this have a removeable waist belt?

A: Yes, the Lowepro Pro Trekker BP 350 AW II Backpack (Black, 24L) does have a removeable waist belt.

Q: 5. Would the 350 squeeze in a 15” MacBook Pro?

A: The Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW II Camera and Laptop Backpack is designed to fit a 13" laptop in its sleeve. Fitting a larger size laptop would require force which could cause damage to the backpack and/or your laptop and is not recommended.

Q: 6. Can you fit a 14" laptop even with the divider plus camera and lenses?

A: Yes. The following unit will accommodate up to a 16inch ;laptop nice and snug.

Q: 7. Would a Nikon Z8 with 24-120 lens fit in this pack?

A: The Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW II Camera and Laptop Backpack (Black, 16L) is large enough to fit the Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera with the 24-120mm f/4 Lens attached.

Q: 8. What length avalanche poles will fit in this backpack. IS there room for an avalanche shovel?

A: There is no limit to the length of a pole other than what you are comfortable with carrying. A pole or tripod would be external to the backpack as shown in this photo: https://bit.ly/2X70YlM However using an extremely long pole could interfere with your ability to walk but a taller person would be able to handle a longer pole than a shorter person. It would be more comfortable using a pole, tripod or shovel that is not much longer than 21 inches,

Q: 9. Can I carry a D5 with 200-400mm f/4 VR attached with the hood inverted, a Nikon AF-D ED 80-200mm f/2.8 and a Sigma 24-70 2.8 Ex Dg in this model or should I upgrade to the 450 AW II? Many thanks

A: You will be best served with a larger/taller bag: the combined length of the D5 and the 200-400mm lens is about 18" and the 350 AW II has an interior camera compartment measuring 15.4". The 450 AW II's camera compartment measures 16.5", which is actually still a bit short to be ideal. If you remove the lens from the camera body, you should be able to fit everything into the smaller 350 AW II bag.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Nikon Z6 with a 100-400 mm lens attached and a Z8 with a 24-120 lens attached?

A: Unfortunately, the Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW II Camera and Laptop Backpack (Black, 16L) is too small for that combination.
