The main purpose of this adapter is to bring shallow depth of field film look to low budget filmmakers with DV or HDV cameras.

A: As the Canon EOS 30D, 40D, and 1D Mark II DSLR cameras all may use CompactFlash II cards, the adapter would be able to fit inside the camera for use. However, do note it may not work with all cards, and using SDHC Wi-Fi cards is not recommended when using an SD-to-CF adapter due to the shielding of the adapter.
