The SF-24 Stereo Ribbon Microphone from Royer Labs incorporates their classic ribbon sound in a stereo microphone. The microphone requires phantom power, which results in an impressive -38 dB output level. Two 1.8-micron aluminum ribbon transducers are mounted on top of each other in a 45-degree Blumlein stereo configuration. The result are stereo recordings with vivid, lifelike detail and transparent audio fidelity. The SF-24 features a 5-pin XLR connector and includes an 18' (5.48m) cable with dual standard XLR connectors.

The high SPL capability and figure-eight polar pattern associated with ribbon microphones apply here as well. Engineers have been known to switch their dual-microphone techniques for the convenience, reliability and audio quality of the SF-24 when capturing orchestras, ambience, group vocals, performances, etc.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are these cards still affected by the corrupting data issue?

A: The affected cards were removed from B&H inventory immediately after this problem was announced. There is no problem with these cards now.

Q: 2. Is it made in Italy or China?

A: Country of origin is China

Q: 3. Can i use it for my elinchrom light?

A: I cannot help with this question. I use it on an Impact light and it works fine with it.

Q: 4. Would this be a good card for the Canon C200? 4K

A: Yes, this card is compatible for recording 4K on the C200.

Q: 5. Country of origin?

A: Taiwan is the country of origin for the Sony 256GB SF-M UHS-II SDXC Memory Card.

Q: 6. Is this memory much slow than V90 300mb/s for an A7iii in 10fps?

A: No, this card is similar to the V90 card, just a little bit slower. It will work fine for shooting 10fps.

Q: 7. Are these cards still affected by the recall problem of corrupting data?

A: No, we have all new stock.

Q: 8. Is this SF-M series card fast enough for 4k in Canon 5d4? The 256GB SF-E Series is too slow and chokes after a few minutes.

A: If you want to take advantage of 4K Video with the Canon 5D Mark IV, you'd need to use a CompactFlash card. This is because 4K is recorded at 500mbps which is 62.5MBps, so you'd need a card with a video rating of 65 or higher. The 5D Mark IV doesn't have a UHS-II card slot, so you cannot take advantage of V90 cards, so you'd have to resort to CompactFlash which the VPG rating is VPG 65 - which'll suffice for 4K video on this camera. We recommend something like the SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro CompactFlash Memory Card (http://bhpho.to/2aGsUQf).

Q: 9. Will these cards work fine for recording all 4K formats on Sony A7Siii ?

A: Yes , however you better buy the (tough model) as they are better in terms of quality (yellow sticker), this model for some reason with some people might face a problem with it like the card gets corrupted out of sudden, i bought 2 pcs one is working till today with out any issues while the other stopped working after 1 week from purchasing, so to be in the safe side just go with the tough model as this model is an upgraded version. I hope my answers helped.

Q: 10. can i use this card for video recording on canon r6 mark ii?

A: Yes, the Sony 128GB SF-M/T2 UHS-II SDXC Memory Card can be used to record video on the Canon R6 Mark II.
