This chart has been designed with that philosophy in mind and works equally well in engineering or production work. It features (4) female models of different ethnicities to provide a complete range of skin-tone values. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens work on Canon 80d?

A: Sorry, I don't know. I have Canon 60D.

Q: 2. will the k mount version work with the pentax k1000?

A: Yes that camera has a K mount so it will fit. This lens is full frame so it will fill the whole frame of the film.

Q: 3. will this lens work on a Pentax K-50 body?

A: Yes, it is the standard pentax mount which works perfectly on all pentax cameras. Although it is manual focus. the lens meters automatically when on the T setting of the shutter dial. The lens is great irregardless of the price. I'm glad I bought it.

Q: 4. Can I control the aperture of the lens with my camera on a Sony body and shoot with Aperture priority. I am a little bit confused because some of the reviews online make it sounds like it only works for Nikon body

A: My camera is a Sony a77II. I use this lens on aperture priority. Aperture adjustments are made manually on the lens. Camera adjusts shutter speed depending on conditions. I have enjoyed the lens. Have taken some great portrait shots. It does require more work from the photographer ie. manual focus and aperture adjustments which is not a bad thing for an amateur like me.

Q: 5. When shooting with this lens in live view and Manual Mode: 1) Does the focus confirm chip still let you know focus is achieved?2) Can you see the proper exposure levels on the LCD? I shoot with a D750

A: 1) In Live View there is no focus confirmation. 2) (On a D800, after hitting the OK button) an exposure meter appears and will show exposure levels as they are adjusted. Not sure how similar D750 is.

Q: 6. Where is this lens made? Japan or China?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is South Korea. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 7. Is this lens will be the best blur lens for canon 750d?

A: If you mean bokeh, then yes! It is very sharp where focused, and has an excellent out of focus blur in the background! Hope this helps!

Q: 8. On 6d, how do you set the shutter speed? Place camera in Av mode, but now what?

A: This lens is a manual aperture lens, meaning if you put it into aperture priority mode the camera doesn't know what to do. I think you might receive the results you are looking for (and Im not sure what those results are) from shooting manual. I bought this lens early on in my collection and struggled with it for a long time, but in the end the frames are totally worth the learning curve. The colors are awesome and if you're willing to get just a little bit closer.

Q: 9. is it compatible with canon eos500N ( film camera / not digital ) ?

A: Yes, the Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC Lens for Canon EF should be compatible for use on the Canon EOS 500N 35mm Film DSLR camera. Do note that this is a fully manual focus lens, so you will have to set the focus and aperture manually on the lens. You would have to use the camera in either Aperture-Priority or full Manual mode, as the Full Automatic, Time Value (Shutter-Priority) mode, and the Scene Modes will not work with a manual lens.

Q: 10. I want to know what is the diameter length in mm of the focus ring so that I buy the compatible Tilta seamless focus gear ?

A: We measured the diameter of the focus ring with our calipers and got a measurement of 73.9mm.
