The ECS-410 Everest from Summit Audio is a single channel, microphone preamp/channel strip with 4 discrete sections. The microphone preamp is complimented by a semi-parametric 3-band EQ, a compressor section and a Db2 output section containing multiple gain stages for overdriving the vacuum tube or discrete transistor amplifiers.

The unit is unique in several ways. Firstly, each of the sections has its own I/O, allowing the user to access any or all the sections independently. Secondly, the TouchPatch Routing System allows for routing any section to and from any other section with a touch of a single button. The system controls what is feeding the DriveBus and anything not routed is available to be used individually from the back panel.

A: Manfrotto 410 3-Way, Geared Pan-and-Tilt Head with 410PL is very strong and will support your Large Format and Medium Format cameras on any angle. The Geared head comes with the Manfrotto 410PL Quick Release Plate. This product has a 3/8-16 screw and a 1/4-20. You can remove and replace them easily.

Q: 3. Just curious, what is the diameter of the base that connects to the tripod? Thanks!

A: The base uses a 3/8 inch tripod screw. Depending upon you preferred unit of measure, the base diameter is approximately:2 5/16 or 2.3 or 6 cm.BTW, great head!

Q: 4. Is this compatible with Really Right Stuff L plates?

A: Yes they are. However you need to adapt them with a custom plate make by a guy in midwest Hejnar Photo. I use this 410 head with his adapter (consists of a base replacement and an Arca Swiss clamp). The Hejnar adapter turns this good 410 head into world class pan tilt head.

Q: 9. What is the difference between the Sherpa Summit and The Sherpa Max? 3mm and $50? Can't find specs on the ball heads.

A: The Fotopro Sherpa Summit Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with FPH-63Q Arca-Type Ball Head and Monopod (Black) and the Fotopro Sherpa Max tripod both have almost the same features. The difference is that the Sherpa Max is 3mm taller and it has slightly less minimum height. The specifications on the ball heads are also the same. Fotopro does this a lot where they release identical tripods at different price points.
