A: Yes, it is ideal and designed for large photo opportunities. It would be perfect for photographing large families. It is a huge backdrop that extends to 12' so you need a large room with preferably a tall ceiling to accommodate it indoors. For outdoors, secure some weights to the backdrop supports to prevent the structure from being blown down by the wind. Preferably. you will need two people to set the backdrop up and take it down especially if fully extended.

A: Unfortunately, using a boom on this background stand while a background is attached would render it unsafe.

A: Yes it will hold this weight but the crossbar it can bow down a little bit

A: Not sure. We use a green screen fabric that was 24 by 10 but turned sideways. The crossbar sagged so we returned it. Built a custom support fixed to the wall.

A: Depends on if your lights are made to go on Baby Stands. The Plug on these stands screws off and you can use them like a normal baby light stand, which is what most Arri and Mole lights under 2000 watts are.

The instructions indicate to keep them low center of gravity, however the center pole is touching the floor when the legs are extended so if the floor is not fully flat it would not be stable... How are the legs suppose to work with these stands?

A: Sounds like you didnt fully extend the legs. I have two of these system and have not yet run into this issue. As a note about flat floors. These do not have leveling legs so an uneven surfaces are tough to work with
