This Gold Mount Battery Plate from Delvcam is designed to hardwire to select Delvcam on-camera monitors via leads provided on the rear. It attaches to your monitor with included M3 screws and lets you power the monitor with an optional Gold mount battery. The plate also features a D-Tap output port for simultaneously powering an accessory. Please see a list of the compatible monitors below.

Q: 1. Do both ends pivot? In other words, does the quarter inch screw part of the arm have to stick out parallel/in-line with the arm, or can it swivel around similar to how a tri-pod fluid head can rotate and turn around? Thank you so much for any help!

A: Yes. When you loosen the knob, everything loosens up, including the screws. It is quite flexible. FYI - we also own the Ikan version of this unit, and for a few more $ it is better built, I think. One of our Delvs broke; our Ikans seem to be holding up better.

Q: 2. Will this unit pass through embedded audio on SDI signal?

A: Yes it Will.

Q: 3. Can I use it on the BlackMagic Production 4K with the SDI in?

A: Yes, I use it with my BlackMagic Production 4K all the time. The only issue I've found is that the framerate has to be 23.98. If you try to use it at 30p, the monitor will show a noisy, distorted image.

Q: 4. Can I input an HDMI signal and have it come out through the HD-SDI output?

A: I haven't tried it, but I doubt it would work.

Q: 5. Why will this unit not show a composite feed picture ?... but it does show with the HDMI.

A: you would be best served with the DELVCAM DELV-WFORM-7SDI monitor , or the DELV-HD7-HSC for waveform.There is no on screen display for refresh rates, only frame rate and resolutions

A: The IP address of the Delvcam DELV-2LCD7-3GHD Dual Rackmount 7" 3G-SDI Monitors must be assigned by the user within the range of 192.168.1.xxx.

Q: 9. Does this monitor accept an SDI-HD signal from the BNC input?

A: No, the BNC connectors cannot take an HD-SDI signal. This monitor can only accept Component or Composite by BNC. HDMI is the way to get digital HD into this monitor.

Q: 10. Hi, will this work with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera?

A: Yes it will. This monitor has a 3G-SDI connection that you can use with the BMD Cinema Camera.
