This stool is great. I use it while I shoot sports team pictures.

This stool takes a load off of my feet. It's easy to carry, easy to set up and holds me well.

Love this thing. Packs up small. Surprisingly comfortable. It makes long days a little bit shorter.

I am using this for birding, sitting in comfort while waiting and then quickly and easily moving to a new location. It's in no way similar to an armchair but that turns out to be an asset in that it allows for quick movement.

This stool has given me the ability to shoot from lower angels and has taken a great weight off of my knees. It has already made my shots more interesting by giving me another angle to shoot from. Great for the knees and very sturdy. No complaints so far.

Many photographers will use this as a light weight blind chair, I use it as much for stabilizing the shot as well. It is very strong, it is very light, it is beautifully engineered. It is an incredible value for the price. My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner.

I have difficulty standing for any length of time. This is perfect. It is very light, is collapsible, and is comfortable to sit on. Everyone who was seen it loves it- from adults to my grandkids.

I'm a mostly garden photographer, which means that I'm outdoors and, either crawling around on the ground, or squatting. However, I originally purchased the 55 X-Large Folding Walkstool for my husband. He no longer tolerates standing for hours at a time so I set out to find him a sturdy, yet light weight, portable sit-stool. Unfortunately, most of the ones I found were either too heavy or not adjustable, so I turned to BH Photo for better alternatives. We've had the 55 X-Large Folding Walkstool for a couple of weeks and I love this thing. Sure, I happily share it with my husband, but I now keep this device with my photo gear. It's easy to carry and well built. I don't even notice that I'm carrying an extra piece of equipment. And when my husband uses it, the Walkstool's small, collapsed size is so discrete that we don't feel like we're dragging lawn furniture to a social function. It's also comfortable to sit on for long periods and the extended position is well balanced. The lower one is a little wobbly until you get accustomed to it but it keeps your bottom off damp ground when you have to shoot low. I would certainly recommend this item to a photographer colleague or a friend.

Had mine for about a year now. Biggest use is for painting (landscapes, not walls) but also take it to live shows. Anypolace you have to walk around forb long enough that sitting down thoughts occupy your mind. 6'6, 280 pounds. Strong, very lightweight, super quick open/close. Carries in it's own shoulder bag and I can forget it's even there. Comfortable. I'm confident of its strength. Pricey but worth it. Flimsy stools offer no comfort or security to me. This is one of those products that is built right and delivers on its promises. Haven't tried it under the Volvo yet.

Finally a way to rest your back, etc. when shooting cyclocross or other racing. Can't imagine not having it and I expect to enjoy it more when snow flies but races go on. The photographer's deer stand.
