A: Super 8mm 50ft cartridges yield about 3600 frames, which provides a run time of 3min 20 sec at 18frames per second, or 2min 30sec at 24frames per second. The processed film when transferred to a video/digital format will yield about 3min for films shot at 18fps and 2min 30sec for those exposed at 24fps and transferred with a 5-bladed shutter system.
