The Tiffen 52mm Digital Diffusion/FX 2 Filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically meant to appear invisible, as if no filtration is being applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps to lessen facial blemishes, wrinkles, and gently smooth textured backgrounds while maintaining sharp focus. The 2 density provides more softening than the 1, but less than the 3.

This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can I take football photos at a Highschool game where the light is not that good?

A: The biggest advantage you have is that is gives you a lot of zoom to see things happening on the field, but in terms of over all control and performance capturing movement in lower light situations, this does not do the best compared to others such as the Sony R10III or IV, Lumix FZ1000, or Lumix FZ2500.

Q: 2. Can you manually set your aperture and shutter speed, and then ask the camera to set the ISO? If so, is the resulting ISO visible in the EVF?

A: Yes, Auto ISO information is displayed in the bottom left corner and compensates for your aperture/shutter speed changes. ISO information is also embedded in the EXIF data.

Q: 3. Is it made in Japan or China or Thailand...?

A: This camera is made in Thailand.

Q: 4. Can the P1000 back button focus?

A: Back button focus is not possible on the P1000.

Q: 5. can it zoom like the 100V 50mm or 70mm ?

A: The Fujifilm X100V has a fixed (non-zoom) 23mm f/2 lens. As this camera has an APS-C sensor size, the lens has an equivalent angle of view to a 35mm focal length in 35mm. The camera can simulate an an equivalence of a 50mm and 75 mm lens with the Digital Teleconverter function.

Q: 6. How lon does the battery last?

A: The battery life for stills is rated at 350/420 frames in the EVF/OVF Normal Mode. The battery life for video with face detection turned off is 45 mins for 4K and 50 mins for Full HD. With the face detection turned on, that is 55mm in 4K and 75mm in Full HD.

Q: 7. can you, and if so - how, transfer the images to my phone without the use of a computer? is an app required?

A: You would have to download the Fujifilm Camera Remote app from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for use on Android or Apple iOS smartphones and tablets. You would follow the instructions concerning syncing the camera to your smartphone/tablet via the camera's built-in Wi-Fi capability, then use the "Import Image" feature in the app and select the images you wish to transfer from the camera to your smartphone/tablet.

Q: 8. Hi, since it is a 35 mm fixed lens, aren't we limited in the use of this camera ? For portraits, landscapes, macro, we must use the same focal length. Can't we zoom ?

A: Indeed, there is no optical zoom on this camera. Its use is primarily geared towards compositions centered around the 35mm field-of-view, and the X100V is often seen as an incredible option for inconspicuous photographers with a knack for street photography.

Q: 9. Is there a lens cap included?

A: Yes there is!

Q: 10. I have a P900 that I hake on trips. I am considering selling the P900 and getting the P1000. I would not pay a nickel for the extra zoom as I don't think I have ever used the full zoom, but some of the reviews indicate there are other improvements beside the greater zoom capacity. Is it worth the money?

A: I think it is worth the upgrade , my opinion just RAW shutting makes it worth it besides the other option
