It's all plastic inside and if you force to tight it will brake. I had to replace mine with an metal handle and it's fine now.

A: 142mm/5.59" inch. The lip is 3.30mm/.129" inch This was to big and did not fit my speed ring where the insert diameter on that one measures to 139-140mm. Although it states Bowens S, it does fit the mount on my strobe. There are slight tolerances between some of the Bowens accessories so this may or may not fit exactly.
