Pairing infrared attenuation with solid neutral density, the 138mm round Water White Glass IRND Filter from Tiffen is a versatile solution to reduce exposure values and achieve neutral color. The neutral density portion of the filter offers a 2-stop exposure reduction for working with longer shutter speeds or wider aperture settings. The infrared portion attenuates infrared wavelengths above 700nm to benefit working with CCD and CMOS sensors under difficult lighting conditions where infrared pollution can affect color balance. This infrared design also works proportionately to the density value, allowing you to achieve comparably neutral results from density to density in varying lighting conditions. The filter is constructed from Water White optical glass and utilizes Tiffen ColorCore technology for maintained clarity and quality. It measures 138mm in diameter and is suitable for use in select matte boxes and sunshades.

Alleviating the need to use multiple filters at once, this filter combines two distinct effects to reduce the number of filter surfaces in use.

IRND 0.6 filter offers a 2-stop exposure reduction to permit working with longer shutter speeds or wider aperture settings than normally required.

Infrared attenuating design eliminates infrared bleed above 700nm, is proportionate to the neutral density value, and helps to ensure clean, accurate colors and true blacks.

Constructed from ColorCore technology Water White optical glass for maintained image quality.

Measures 138mm in diameter and is suited for use with select matte boxes and sunshades.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it normal to hear sounds from the camera lens part when you open it?

A: I am not sure which lens you are referring to but if it is the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens it does make noise when focusing.

Q: 2. Does R50 support taking panorama pictures via auto-stitching?

A: The Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera has Panorama Shot mode as one of the Special Scene modes. The camera takes continuous shots at five frames per second as you pan the camera and then automatically stitches the photos to generate a high-resolution panorama image.

Q: 3. Will the Canon R8 & R50 accept the Canon speedlite EL-100?

A: The Canon EOS R8 and R50 would require the Canon AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter. BH # CAOCSAADE1 to use the Canon EL-100 Speedlite. https://bhpho.to/3V0nhCr

Q: 4. does R50 take multiple exposures (how many) with blend modes?

A: It does not appear that the Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera (Black) has a Multiple Exposure mode. They do have a Handheld Night Scene Mode that enables handheld shooting for night scenes, and in this mode, four (4) shots are taken consecutively for each picture, and the resulting image with reduced camera shake is recorded, but a Multiple Exposure Mode placing two (or more) different exposures in one image file is not listed as a feature for this camera.

Q: 5. Could this trigger work with a Canon 5D mk3 and/or Canon 5D mk4? If yes, what adapter cable is necessary? Thank you

A: We're afraid not. This is not compatible with the 5D Mark III or IV. Tilta does not offer a cable for it either.

Q: 6. Can you use a hot shoe mount or flash with this camera?

A: Yes Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera with 18-45mm Lens (Black) accepts flashes that have multi function shoe like the Canon EL5.
