Each ACP RBC #55 is tested and approved by APC to restore the performance of UPS systems to their original operating specifications. This RBC conforms to safety regulations and maintains original UPS specifications and protection policies. The battery has an expected life of three to five years.

The APC RBC #55 comes fully assembled with connections made with high-current, gas-tight crimps and fuses included, making hot-swap installation quick. No downtime is necessary in order to install the battery cartridges. Easy-to-follow replacement instructions are included.

The APC RBC #55 is a spill-free, sealed lead-acid battery, which makes it compliant with international regulations and safe for transport. Almost all the lead content in the battery is reused, helping to protect the environment from hazardous chemicals. Generate a pre-paid shipping label and send your old battery to a certified recycling facility free of charge.

I will only buy these kinds of batteries from B&H, they are made in USA and APC OEM, don't risk buying cheap Chinese knock-offs from Amazon...these typically last over 5-6 years and longer. 5

B&H Photo worked diligently with me to get the right battery replacements after we discovered that the APC 2200 UPS had changed batteries in the new version. The rep put us in contact with APC and forwarded the pictures of the existing batteries . After APC was able to identify the correct battery replacement, B&H expedited the delivery and arranged for a return of the incorrect batteries from the initial order. This comes as a two pack. There was some confusion as to this fact. The UPS that this is used for needs two batteries, one behind the other. 5

Replaced batteries for our SUA2200 with very good results. Previously had tried a compatible brand, cost about 1/2 the price of the APC but had less than about 1/4 of the runtime. Recalibrating the UPS did take quite a long time but I had excellent [e-mail] support from the APC Tech staff throughout. Several real-world test results did correctly reflect the [updated] values shown on Power Chute status. Out of curiosity, repeated the same real-world test with the compatible battery and sure enough, the battery depleted significantly earlier [i.e. runtime was about 20 - 25% of the APC-Schneider original]. Noteworthy: Pre-sales questions were addressed in a timely fashion, although one tech had "bypassed" a key point - a second covered the needed answer promptly. 5
