They are placed between the light source and lens in fixtures capable of optical focusing. The gobo pattern is then projected onto a background or reflective surface at the desired level of sharpness.

These quality gobos are available in a myriad of effects such as "Abstract", "Break-up" "Rotation", and "Scene". Whether you prefer color or black and white, these sturdy gobos, which come in various sizes can turn a simple lighting scenario into a dynamic presentation.

With over 200 glass patterns and designs to choose from, Rosco gives you complete freedom for the kind of creative shooting you want.

Whether you are creating a scene, setting an atmosphere or to merely enhance an existing set, these gobos, made to exacting standards, supply the feel, function and flexibility that professionals want.

Install dichroic gobos with the coating side towards the lamp Always check with your lighting manufacturer to make sure the Gobo will fit your specific light since the Gobo you order may not be non-returnable. It is also recommended that you find out if a Gobo Holder is required.

A: No, they don't have shoes, just the power unit.

A: It will work manually. You will not have TTL.

Q: 6. Is it possible to buy extra diffusers for the Olympus STF-8 flash?

A: Unfortunately, no, it is not. I contacted Olympus America and they state that the diffusers included in the Olympus STF-8 Twin Flash are not available as a separate replacement accessory.

Q: 7. With this be a good lighting system to uses on a copystand to digitize old photos / drawing / paintings?

A: The Olympus STF-8 Twin Flash is really for macro shots—to be used with a macro lens. If you use this on a copy stand to photograph flat art, you'd need to position the lights further away. Otherwise, you would get glare on the photos.

Q: 8. I have the OM-D E-M5 MII and I can't get STF-8 to fire during focus bracketing. Is it not compatible or am I missing a setting?

A: You have to change another setting to get it to flash. I had the same problem until I found the answer in the manual. It still took some effort because the manual was not that clear.Under Menu select 2 Advance Camera Shooting Options , Anti-Shock/Silent , Silent Mode Setting , Flash Mode , Allow .It took me a long time to figure this one out. Be sure to set your flash time long enough for the flash to recharge.Good Luck...Doug

Q: 9. Flash will not fire on the OM D I mark II. Is there a setting buried in the menus that has to be changed?

A: By any chance do you have the camera set for STACKING tr SILENT SHUTTER mode? if yes go to SHOOTING MENU 2 then go to AntiShock/Silent press the OK button and then scroll down to SILENT MODE SETTINGS then scroll to the right and then scroll down to select FLASH MODE and set to ALLOW. If that does not resolve the issue please contact Olympus Technical Support 1-888 -553-4448

Q: 10. Is this compatable with the E-M1 Mk 1?

A: Yes, it will work with any olympus camera. You have to use it with either the 30mm f/3.5 macro, 60mm f/2.8 macro, or 12-40 f/2.8 PRO.
