The Porta Brace CC-HD1V Quick Draw Camera Case, Van Version (Signature Blue) is a top load case without a lid that provides easy access to a camcorder in a car, van or truck. This padded 1000 denier waterproofed Cordura nylon case has a rigid, reinforced core that resists crushing and puncturing. There are two foam blocks for lens and camera side support. The case holds a camcorder with an on-board battery and most wireless configurations attached. There is an aluminum viewfinder guard for protection and security. The case fits in car trunk or in the back of a van or truck and fastens securely using a seat belt and the Quick-Draw seat belt loops

A: The diameter of the mounting plate on this column is approximately 2.7".

Q: 5. Is the screw LENGTH (not diameter) adjustable?

A: The center screw is removable, so you could substitute another of your choice. Alternatively, if it's too long for your purpose, a metal washer inserted as a spacer would solve the problem. It, along with the Vantage 5, has become my favorite tripod that I choose out of a closet of more than a dozen other top drawer tripods. Highly recommended.

Note: brown one (discounted) is V1 of the bag, despite the name. The differences: - v1 external side pockets do not have the magnet - v2 internal dividers has another flap so you can have two smaller lenses separated in on top of each other (v1 doesn't) - v2 in the back has a luggage handle slot (so you can secure it to an extended luggage handle; v1 doesn't) - v1 dividers can be attached to the side (v2 cannot - only back + front walls) Otherwise they seem to be the same. I cannot fit my Macbook Pro 15 in the back pocket. I assume 13 would fit. Macbook Pro 15 will fit inside but then you need to remove the dividers or for v1 run dividers from the front wall to the side wall (looks awkward, but doable in v1). 5
