If you own an unmounted 138mm polarizing filter, you can use this Rota-Pola Tray from Revar Cine to install it into a matte box that accepts 4 x 5.65" filters. The tray has a lightweight and rigid aluminum construction, and rotating the gears that extend from either side of the tray will adjust the polarizer in order to easily achieve your desired result. The advantage of this setup over a standard filter is apparent when the matte box is mounted on LWS rods. This setup usually prevents the full 360° rotation of 4 x 5.65 filters, but with the Rota-Pola solution, the filter rotation takes place inside the tray, so there is no interference with LWS rods. Additionally, matte boxes that don't feature rotating filter stages will now be useable in shots that require a rotating polarizer.

I got this to use a 4x4 Hollywood Black Magic filter on my BMMCC rig. perfect for my needs. It pops on and off with no issues on my 77mm step up ring that also holds my IR cut screw on filter. Never had a problem with it coming off while shooting and I put down and pick up my camera fairly often during a shoot (i swap between my video rig and still rig while shooting). Awesome product from an attentive American company with great customer service.

Fantastic build quality, and great image quality. The locking mechanism is a nice touch for when you find your sweet spot. It's wildly expensive but it's ARRI, what did you expect?

Perfect for my aerial camera setup, it is light and seems durable since its rubber. Was not aware that these existed since I've seem people just tape filters to front of lens for gimbal setup.
