A: about 68 . give or take an inch.

Q: 2. Can the Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder be easily mounted to a standard C Stand?

A: Yes it can. But I will also let you know the I've moved on from using this piece. I kind of hate it. Simply put, it has too many knobs that can come off or loosen on the road. I'm always shooting on location (everyday), I lost two knobs and bent a clip within the first couple of months. I knew that by replacing the missing pieces it would just happen again. So I purchased an Illuminating Arm instead. Less moving parts, less to worry about and hassle free.

A: Yes.

A: Approximately one inch

A: Yes it can hold a reflector horizontally. If you look at the magnified image of it you'll see that the two clips that hold the reflector are adjusted with a thumb turn screw. This allows the clips to not only slide along the arm but also rotate 360 degrees around the arm as well. So they can be turned horizontally. Or in any orientation to the arm.Just be aware you may need to add a bit of weight to help counter balance the arm for safety. As well as a sand bag for the light stand. Hope this helps.

A: Yes, the weight is able to be taken off by simply unscrewing it.

Q: 8. is there anything at the very tip of the boom? Like a 1/4 20 or 5/8? Or can you attach a light stand spigot so you can attach other pieces of equipment?

A: I threaded the end with an inexpensive 3/8 -16 hex die, which only requires a wrench to turn it to cut the threads. The post is just a hair too small in diameter for a true 3/8 thread, but it holds onto a 3/8 mic attachment just fine.

A: No assembly required. Unbox it, remove plastic, mount on stand and adjust to the size of your reflector.

Q: 10. Is this Impact light stand (BH #IMLS8AI) able to support the holder with a 42" reflector without sandbags for indoor use? Or something Impact heavy-duty light stand is recommended?

A: Yes it will work, personally I would use a heavier stand.
