I use it with a platypod with great results. It allows for a low perspective with wide angle lens at ground level, for example. Well made, smooth, stable.

This ball had has been a pleasure to use. It holds my 7DMarkII and Sigma 150-600C no problems at any angle. Its fine control is very good. Compared to other cheaper ball heads I have used when you lock it down it shifts the point of direction some. this ball head keeps it directly at what you pointed at when clamping down.

Works well on my monopod or my lighter weight trippod to support my Sony A7ii mirrorless camera. Adjustment knobs feel smooth and provide a firm hold when tightened down. Would buy again.

This seems like a good quality ball head. It is built sturdy, and the knobs work easily. I do wish that the arca type quick release had a locking mechanism though. I haven't had it loosen, but would rather not take chances.

I have a couple of these for streaming with lightweight MILC APC format cameras with kit zoom.They work extremely well even when the cameras are mounted on booms or poles.

Small and agile comes to mind when using this ball head, works so well I will be purchasing another one for a second tripod i just bought!!!

Worked great on the Platypod. Size is easily stored in a corner of the camera bag. Very secure setup for my Canon 5dMiii and lens.
